MoEz First Try

Hello!

Since last year I had been wanted to try the MoEz technique but I always chicken out. I read people having trouble with changing colors so I looked and requested a video on how to do it but couldn’t find anything.
I decided to give it a try and it wasn’t that bad. I use a regular g crochet hook and did the Jacqui’s heart pattern but it came out rectangular instead of square. Can you tell me which regular crochet hooks are similar to the size of the MoEz red and black hooks?
At the beginning of my project I made the first road basic then the second row purl, and at the end of the project I did the last before row purl and the last row basic. And I also single crochet around it to help with the curling issue. I actually don’t like very much how the back looks :( but I like the front a lot :D

It is a bit stiff because I use cotton yarm :o Yap! I used the scrap from the beach bag :o

Haru

This is my first time making an amigurumi, I think the dog came out ok. I named him Haru which it means born in spring. I used H crochet hook with caron and mainstays yarn. He was filled with polyester fiber and polyester pellets (just for the bottom of his body). Hooray! Hooray! I finished him today it took me a week.
My sons are happy to have Haru,

1st hooded Blanket

Here is my new finished project. This hooded baby blanket was very easy and fun to make. It took me about a week to finish it.

I was kind of dissapointed with the yarn 'cause it had several knots but I am very pleased how the blanket turn out.

Socks

I am going to use this to make a pair of socks.

Today 2/28/06 I started working on my socks. I just did 12 rows. Kids always need something from me. I guess little crochet is better than nothing.

Here is a close-up for you to see how the stitches are coming along. I know I am not the best photographer but I will try to do better next time.

The final product.

I finish one of the socks the same day that I started the project but the second one I started and finished it yesterday.

They are pretty warm to wear for this cold weather.
